Terms of Service

EVE Yield is a free, independently-run tool for EVE Online players. It pulls live market data and your character's skill/asset data (via CCP's public ESI API, after you authorize it) to estimate reprocessing, manufacturing, planetary industry, and related profitability. Estimates are informational only and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.

EVE Online and the EVE logo are the registered trademarks of CCP hf. All rights are reserved worldwide. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. EVE Online, the EVE logo, EVE and all associated logos and designs are the intellectual property of CCP hf. All artwork, screenshots, characters, vehicles, storylines, world facts, or other recognizable features of the intellectual property relating to these trademarks are likewise the intellectual property of CCP hf. CCP hf. has granted permission to EVE Yield to use EVE Online and all associated logos and designs for promotional and information purposes on its website but does not endorse, and is not in any way affiliated with, EVE Yield. CCP is in no way responsible for the content on or functioning of this website, nor can it be held liable for any damage arising from the use of this website.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. Prices, job costs, research costs, training-time estimates, and every other figure shown are computed from formulas we've reconstructed from public documentation and community sources, and may be wrong. Live market prices, skill data, and cost indices can change or fail to load at any time.

Any decision you make in EVE Online — what to buy, build, research, or train — based on this Service is entirely your own responsibility. Verify anything that matters against the game client before committing real ISK or time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVE Yield and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of ISK, in-game items, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability can't be fully excluded, it's limited to the amount (if any) you paid to use the Service in the past 12 months, which for a free service is zero.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EVE Yield and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Logging in uses EVE Online's official SSO (CCP's login system) — we never see or store your EVE account password. We store your character ID, character name, and the access/refresh tokens needed to call ESI on your behalf, plus the character data (skills, blueprints, assets, standings, location, planetary colonies, implants — whatever scopes you've granted) needed to compute the estimates you see. We make reasonable efforts to protect this data but can't guarantee absolute security. You can revoke access at any time from your EVE Online third-party application settings, which immediately invalidates our access.

We use Google Analytics for basic, anonymized usage tracking. We don't sell your data.

You can optionally authorize third-party AI assistants (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to query your character's industry data on your behalf. This uses a separate, limited, revocable token — the third-party app never receives your EVE Online login credentials or your ESI access/refresh tokens. You approve each connection explicitly and can review or revoke any connected app at any time from Dashboard → Connected Apps. Revoking immediately stops future access; a token already issued to that app expires on its own within an hour.

Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service (including automated scraping outside normal use, or hammering endpoints faster than a human would click). We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for any account or IP that does this.

We may update these terms or the Service itself at any time, for any reason, without notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Check back occasionally if you care.
